The word Umi is a direct translation from Japanese to English which means ‘the ocean’. As we’re nestled right on the Atlantic Ocean & that’s where all our fish comes from to make our sushi > ‘ocean produce & Japanese techniques/cuisine’ felt like a perfect fit to us.
Orders can be placed anytime between our opening hours & if you want you can still stick on a pre-order to secure the goods.
Also.. if your unorganized, in a hurry or just got a sushi craving (which happens a lot) just rock up to the shop between our opening hours and we’ll hook you up!!
